Ralph Tolentino, B.Kin, CAT(C)

Athletic Therapist
Shift Concussion Management Level 1 Provider

Ralph graduated from the University of Manitoba in June 2017 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Athletic Therapy). In November 2017, Ralph went on to become a Certified Athletic Therapist under the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. Ralph specializes in treating a variety of individuals with acute or chronic injuries as a result of physical activity, work, motor vehicle collisions or every day life. In 2023 Ralph became a certified, Level 1 Shift Concussion Management Provider. Ralph also works as an on-bench trainer with local hockey teams at the AAA bantam and AAA midget level and as a  dryland training coach. Ralph instructs the Lunchtime Fitness Class, Simplyfit and off-season hockey training.

Angelo Sarlas, DC

Rehabilitation Director
 

Dr. Sarlas is one of the founding partners of Prairie Fitness & Rehab and its rehabilitation director.  Dr. Sarlas is also the owner of Royal
Chiropractic Centre and you can find out more about him here.
Dr. Sarlas holds certifications in the following: SHIFT concussion rehabilitation and management provider level 1, OccuPro Functional Capacity Evaluations, cupping massage, neurofascial release, and sports injury prevention and rehabilitation. 

Dr. Sarlas works as an on-bench trainer with local hockey teams at the AAA bantam and AAA midget level.

Colin Bosc, B.Kin, CAT(C)

Athletic Therapist
Shift Concussion Management Level 1 Provider

Colin graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology, majoring in Athletic Therapy, from the University of Manitoba in 2018. He went on to certify as an Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association in June of 2018. As an Athletic Therapist, he specializes in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal issues. Colin utilizes manual therapy, exercise, education, and a variety of other rehabilitation techniques in order to get his patients back to doing the things they love, whether that is work, play, or sport. In 2023 Colin became a certified, Level 1 Shift Concussion Management Provider. Colin also works as an on-bench hockey trainer with local AAA teams, a dryland instructor, and personal trainer.

Kristin Klyne, B.Sc.

Managing Partner

Kristin graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology.  In 2017, she went back to school to earn her Diploma of Basic Relaxation Massage from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. Kristin is currently in charge of human resources and operations.

Jordan Aymont

Facility Manager / Instructor

Jordan graduated from Portage Collegiate Institute in 2015, and began working at Prairie Fitness & Rehab as part of the administration team in 2017. Jordan is also the Content Developer at Prairie Fitness & Rehab, responsible for all web content, social media, and marketing tools. Jordan instructs morning boot camps and assists with dryland training during the hockey season.

Devin Pahkala, B.Sc., MPT

Trainer

Devin is passionate about helping youth become better leaders and active members of their community. He has also held a lifelong passion for team sports, particularly hockey. He found a way to merge them both together by working with Prairie Fitness & Rehab to help Portage la Prairie's own Central Plains Capitals Bantam and Midget boys and girls hockey teams. He has worked two seasons with the organization, providing on-bench services, pre-game warm-up, and post-game care.
